We are looking for students ages 16-17 to work as Direct Support Professional Assistants. As a DSP Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with developmentally disabled adults and learn valuable skills in the medical and social services fields. A DSP Assistant will help with community outings, leisure time activities, some light housekeeping, and serving meals.
This job has flexible scheduling options, paid holidays, and the ability to earn vacation time.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA or BS in related field preferred (Education, Psychology or Social Work)
- 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a school,
residential, or supported living setting - Proficient in the ability to use a computer
- Knowledge of appropriate developmental training programs

Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Description
- Assists individuals with any activities; acting as teacher, a coach, and a mentor encouraging independence and assisting as needed
- Assists with transportation of individuals
- Monitors and insures individual participation and satisfaction
- Provides personal care: Feeding, toileting and care of incontinent individuals, changing clothing
- Performs individual mobility activities: Transferring, positioning, cart use of Hoyer lift (if required), or other activities per ISP
- Encourages individuals to be as independent as they can be and promoting freedom of choice
- Completes all documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Assures individual uses any adaptive equipment as per ISP
- Participates in the individuals Day Program Interdisciplinary Team in the development and implementation of the ISP
- Ensures and maintain a safe and clean facility
- Attends all required meetings and training and keeps CPR/First Aid up to date

Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented LPN to join our team at NCC Solutions. You will be providing services to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. We are currently looking to fill full and part time positions.
