Our Hiring Process
Welcome to NCC Solutions, Inc. and thank you for your interest in employment with us. NCC Solutions, Inc. is committed to providing quality services and to the employment of quality individuals. Below you will find information about our hiring process; good luck in pursuing your interest!
Step One
Review Job Postings
Visit our careers page to review available positions. When looking over the job descriptions, please understand that you do not need to know everything required of a position before applying. Many of the skills needed you will learn at orientation, in-house training, and through experience in the field.
Step Two
Submit an application
Please fill out an online application, which can be accessed at the bottom of this page. You may also download an application in Word or PDF format from the Careers page. Complete the application and fax it to 440-582-1980 or email it to ncchrdept@necare.org. You may also apply in person. If you decide to do so, we strongly urge that you arrive before 4:00pm to ensure that you have sufficient time to complete the application. Resumes may also be submitted to provide additional information.
Step Three
Application screened by HR Department
Your application will then be screened by the Human Resources Department based upon the minimum job requirements of the posting; only applicants meeting minimum stated qualifications will be considered. All applicants must pass an initial background screening: Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Abuser Registry, Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry and US Department of Health & Human Services Office of Inspector General List of Excluded Individuals.
If you meet the position’s qualifications and are a good fit, you will be invited to our offices for an interview. If you do not hear back within one week of submitting your application, feel free to call to confirm it has been received. If you are not hired, your application will be kept on file for six months. After this period of time, if you have a continued interest in employment, you will need to complete a new application.
Step Four
On-site interview
If you meet the position’s qualifications and are a good fit, you will be invited to our offices for an interview. If you do not hear back within one week of submitting your application, feel free to call to confirm it has been received. If you are not hired, your application will be kept on file for six months. After this period of time, if you have a continued interest in employment, you will need to complete a new application.
Step Five
Offer of employment
All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a job-related drug screen, a criminal history background check (BCII and/or FBI if you lived out of the state of Ohio in the past 5 years), satisfactory reference checks and for some positions, Abstract Driving Record (points on license vary based upon age and situations) and proof of auto insurance. In addition, final employment decisions must be approved by the Executive Director.
Step Six
Working at NCC Solutions, Inc.
In today’s world, a big heart isn’t a requirement for many jobs, but at NCC Solutions, Inc., you must be compassionate about your job. We are here to serve our clients, and to do so without compassion would be futile. As a caregiver (whether you are a direct support professional, nurse, manager, therapist, cook, or housekeeper), you will have the opportunity to change lives and see that direct support is more than just providing daily services — meals, showers, housework, laundry, and medications; albeit these tasks must be done well too.
